ERM… why is there a black background ?

To be honest I mainly use wp.com for my akismet api key, and checking out top blogs in the dashboard, but I’ve jst noticed I can’t add the post bookmarklet – I think I’d better search for a proper bug report

blog & wordpess lovers everywhere will recognise this default theme but the dashborad is where things will start to change, now the new dashboard is too big for me to fit on my screen, so I’ve broken it up into 2 screen shots, the top half is like “you control panel” and the bottom is like a “community bulliten” of interesting blogs on wordpress.com

You’ll notice the slick new theme as well. So lets look at the important stuff, writing a post, how smart if this java-scripty-thingy , by far the most improoved aspect is the picture handling, actually the whole feel of use it very gmail.

The Manage & link pages follow the same format as before, just themed

The new themes section very nice, check out the previews, this new dashboard really is targeted as user experience.

I guess the last thing to show is the profile page, not because it’s anything special, but more because it’s new, “all about me” is essential for a comminity portal

I’m still undecided on what I’m gonna do with my cool new blogspace, one thing I’ve always prided myself with on my website is that I published 80% usefull content and 20% rubbish, rather than the usual standard of 20% useful & 80% rubbish – wordpress.org exempt of course that 100% great

My first impressions of wordpress.com is that it looks slicker , I’m guessing that’s the new 1.6 code, check out this new preview pane.

Looking good is a good start, but no spellchecker ! – that could impact on the usability ! Anyway, I need to get back to thinking – what to do, what to do
